hi archyive

Last weeks message:

This video was shown during Pastor Glenn’s message today.

Screen Shot 2015-04-24 at 11.38.06 PMJust wanted to let everyone know that this Sunday the Hawaii Bicycling League will be having their annual Haleiwa Metric Century Bike Ride.  It’s a family fun event and will be well attended by serious bikers and family bikers as well.

The roads may be coned off and traffic patterns may vary and parking can sometime become an issue too.  Come to church early and bring your smiles so you’re not frustrated.  The start of the race is very impressive and it would be a great opportunity to stand next to our church campus and wave at all the bikers going by.

If you’ll be riding let us know too!

Maureen King

A big proud shout out to our own Maureen King, who was the featured volunteer this month for Hoʻōla Nā Pua, a non-profit dedicated providing a nurturing home that meets the unique needs of underage female sex trafficking victims through the utilization of individualized, comprehensive, and restorative therapies.

Here’s a short excerpt:

“On a weekly basis, Maureen searches for grants, targeting foundations that benefit victims of trafficking, as well as organizations with broader goals that address homelessness, children’s welfare, abuse, and domestic violence. In addition, she organizes due dates and the dollar amounts granted in an extensive chart, assigning those of highest priority to an available grant writer.”
